Why is the price different?
More than square metres: what really changes the price
Even two rooms of the same area can have different perimeters, and therefore different profile lengths, number of drillings and working time. Other factors are also shown on specific examples.

Ask to show exactly what is included in the amount before installation. Sometimes the low price per square meter does not include things without which the ceiling cannot be made normally.
- Profile. A plastic profile is cheaper, but an aluminum profile holds the geometry and load better.
- Price fixing. If there is no agreed estimate, the amount may change already at the facility.
- Documents. The handover certificate, contract and warranty must be clear before payment.
- The light It is better to agree on points, mounting platforms, chandeliers, cornices and pipes before installation, and not at the last moment.
- Surcharges Check whether the light, eaves, bypass of pipes, departure and delivery of materials are not counted separately.

Free site survey: our specialist arrives on time and answers every question
During the site survey, we check the characteristics of the room and agree on the option of future ceilings and lighting. After that, we will provide the final estimate and installation time.
Site surveys in Kharkiv are free. For locations outside the city, the manager will confirm only the travel cost in advance. If you sign a contract after the survey, that amount is deducted from the final payment.

How to prepare the premises for installation
Before installation, we will tell you what to remove, how to protect furniture, glass, mirrors, appliances and surfaces near the attachment points.
- after site survey, do not change the configuration of the room without agreement with the manager;
- free access to the walls and ceiling, and remove or cover fragile things, plants and objects sensitive to heat;
- electricity, light points, chandelier, tracks, curtain and niches must be approved before installation;
- we work carefully and use professional construction vacuum cleaners connected to perforators, but even with a dust extractor, drilling is not completely dust-free;
- after installation, we check the lamps, the edge of the ceiling and hand over the finished work.

Price, site survey, installation and payment — in brief
Why is the price not calculated only per m²?
The area is important, but the estimate also includes the perimeter, profile, corners, pipes, light points, wall material, mounting height, material drift and the number of exits.
How accurate is the online estimate?
This is the preliminary cost according to the selected parameters. We fix the exact amount after the site survey, when the technical surveyor sees the walls, height, lighting, pipes, niches and other technical details.
What is included in the price?
The basic calculation includes standard quality membrane, metal profile, consumables and installation within the city limits. The options you selected in the calculator are added to the previous calculation; complex knots are specified by site survey.
Can the site survey be completed before the renovation is finished?
Yes. An early site survey helps to plan the profile, light, niches, curtains and mounting platforms. If the geometry or levels still change, we check the final parameters before installation.
What to do first: wallpaper or ceiling?
It is most convenient to put the profile to the wallpaper, and to stretch the membrane after finishing. If the wallpaper is already glued, wait for the glue to dry completely; the exact term depends on the material and conditions in the room.
Will there be dust?
During drilling, dust is possible even with the professional vacuum cleaners that we use together with the perforators. We reduce its amount, but advise to remove or cover things before installation.
Can I use my own lighting?
Show the lamps or their characteristics before measuring. The technical surveyor will check the dimensions, fastenings, power and will tell you what mounting platforms or preparations are needed.
Is it possible to change the position of the light after measuring?
Changes are usually possible prior to production and installation. After preparing the profile, wiring or mounting platforms, changing points may require recalculation and additional work.
What is the difference between MSD Standard, MSD Premium and BAUF?
MSD Standard has a thickness of 160 microns and a 6-year warranty. MSD Premium — 180 microns and a 12-year warranty. BAUF is 205 µm, a German brand with European certification and licensed production in China.
How is the payment in installments?
After the final estimate, choose a bank and number of payments and review the schedule. Monobank, A-Bank and PUMB installments are arranged online without visiting a branch.
